They wanted to create an organization to urge members to run their businesses efficiently and cost effectively and to be their voice with Government, key industry bodies, regulators and suppliers. The Association has since grown and helped many members over the years to achieve their business goals and urge and represent them to both Government and Corporate bodies. The members of ETA ACT include little and temperate businesses from across the different range of motor trades such as: The Association is made up of a Board of members all of whom have Automotive businesses and who voluntarily devote time and energy to the betterment of their industry and fellow members. Hence our Motto For the Industry by the Industry The ETA ACT is a voluntary organization and works within and understands the challenges that ACT members confront in running their businesses. The ETA ACT is a volunteer based not for earnings organization, when you call you will speak to someone who is also a business person and who has the experience and expertise to assist you with your issues. ETA ACT offers a full range of business assistance to members including: Assist with industrial relations and pay advice. Advocating with Government and industry on behalf of members. Promoting the industry and the work of individual member businesses. We also respond to inquiries from members of the public about what they can expect from ETA ACT member businesses and oversee disputes between consumers and ETA ACT members. ETA ACT members are committed to conducting business professionally and fairly. The team at the ACT Motor Trades Association is committed to excellent customer service. On a daily basis the team manages inquiries from a broad range of sources including: Act with professionalism, courtesy and integrity in all their business dealings. Consumers with questions about their rights and dealings with members of ETA ACT. ETA ACT supports its members' delivery of lofty quality, steadfast service to motor vehicle owners in the ACT and region. Representing members needs and issues to Government and industry in order to support a fairer business environment. Assisting ETA ACT members to resolve consumer issues should they arise and labor towards a triumph result. Paul originally started active at Autotech Services in 2003. Since taking over the business in 2008, Paul specialisms in custom fabrication, tuning of Weber Carburetors and motor sport preparation. Fortunately for anyone with a carburetor on their vehicle, Paul is qualified to provide excellent service to continue the reputation of Autotech Services Canberra as one of the best barb tuners in the ACT region. Paul has a background in servicing and tuning Ala Romeo’s, specialist repairs such as gearbox rebuilds and general fabrication. It was here that a business partnership grew with Peter Rowling and the team at Autotech. Ed has a passion for dyno tuning and engine setup and is excited to have the dyno suite up and running. Ed specialisms in the modification of performance vehicles, fuel injection diagnostics and is a dyno tuning specialist. Chris completed his trade certificate in 2002 through CIT and Canberra Toyota. Chris specialisms in hybrid technologies and general mechanical repairs. Chris is passionate about cars and has spent two years busy on his own labor of love a Toyota Cressida with a twin turbocharged Supra 5 speed engine conversion. The car was shown at the 2008 and 2009 Summernats and featured in an edition of Hasty Fours magazine. coma Diesel Service are qualified to test and fix all Diesel fuel injection pumps and injectors, though they specialism in the dens fuel injection system, it has the facility to mend other brands such as: Their state of the art fuel injection test facility is suited of an excellence in quality that equals any in the world. coma Diesel Service was the first pump room in Australia to test and fix dens Common rail and have repaired this system not only for Australia but for many international customers.
