The Aquatots concept was developed in 2002 as a local Canberra swim school committed to reducing drowning statistics, by teaching children to swim in a fun, warm and cordial environment. Aquatots specializes in teaching infants and young children to swim and has grown over the years to teach all ages from six weeks upwards. The program has a focus on all the fundamentals of swimming and water safety that could one day aid to save their lives. Constantly updated programming to keeping line with all international research and trends in the superior aquatic education techniques. Australia's beginning little babies aquatic developmental program designed to permit children the opportunity to grow and flourish with the benefits of water, from 6 weeks of age. Developed in conduction with local medical experts. Aquatots uses a unique teaching method developed by our Principal Debbie sari, Bachelor of Education AC (early childhood physical education) and with over 40 years teaching experience in the aquatics' industry. Along with learn to swim experts Alana and Daniel sari, Aquatots is a family owned and operated swim school, where we are involved in and appreciate teaching swimming as well as being leaders in this field. Developmentally age good classes and activities for babies and young children, so that your little one will be learning alongside other young babies of a similar age so that parents and children feel homey and outgoing that their children are learning appropriate skills for their development. Classes activities are different and stimulating to aid with all round kid development, don't be surprised that your insignificant one learns their colors, counting, alphabet and nursery songs prior even starting formal schooling. Longitudinal studies have shown that starting swimming lessons at a young age helps with coordination, all round health and concentration, with reading ages shown to be more advanced in children who attend swimming lessons. The instructors are all competent instructors with Swim Australia or Austswim Certification and also have Babies and Infants qualifications as healthy as going through Aquatots extensive training program to become our aquatic educators. Some of our first babies are now our swimming instructors. Our aim is to teach natural buoyancy and encourage children to thrive reliance and confidence in their own abilities while learning the most efficient swimming techniques. Learning to swim correctly will assist your kid keep energy when trying to swim in an emergency situation. We are building a life long skill and love for the water.
