We design and deliver accessible and sustainable services to promote Australian dance professionals. We are part of a network of Ausdance organizations delivering integrated programs across the country, anticipating industry issues and providing innovative and inclusive responses. Our mission is to educate, inspire and urge the dance community to reach its potential as a dynamic force within local, national and international communities. Provide leadership in dance education, advocacy, policy development and debate. Champion innovation, creativity and diversity in dance. Help in identifying and promoting all dance traditions that exist in Australia, in recognition of their cultural importance. Over the years Ausdance has been supported by many passionate volunteers, committee members and staff. We confess these exceptional people with honorary life membership. We have a particular interest in the independent sector, youth and community and professional development for dance teachers in the ACT. We are the main encourage and advocacy body for dance in MSW. We are committed to raising the profile of local companies and artists, both nationally and internationally. We work to bring recognition to the many roles that dance plays in the cultural life of Queensland and to maximize opportunities for practitioners. We bear resources, advice, advocacy, education and professional development for dance artists, practitioners and enthusiasts throughout the state. We aim to lead, urge and champion all things dance. Through our membership program and annual initiatives we aim to inspire, produce, educate and promote dance as segment of the everyday in WA. Active with and for artists, we want to see dance take its place as a premier and integral activity in Australia.
