PsychSessions had its origins in 2004 and grew out of the private practice of Dr John Brown. In premature 2008 we moved into our current premises, and with our fresh name and new staff we greatly expanded our services to the Canberra community. The program provides coordinated multidisciplinary treatment for insomnia and other sleep disorders. In 2010 we also launched our Social Anxiety Group Therapy program to overcome the limitations of individual therapy for social problems. As we look to the tomorrow our aim is to produce for Canberra effective tall quality psychological treatments in both individual and group settings in cooperation with other necessary health services where required.
We provide clinical psychological therapy and treatment for a expansive variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, insomnia, sleep problems and eating disorders. Alice has received clinical training in the provision of therapy to a wide range of populations, including children, adolescents and adults, and particularly focusing on mood and anxiety disorders. Alice has a specific interest and experience in the treatment of eating disorders. This training focused on developing his proficiency in Cognitive behavior Therapy (CB) old in the treatment of depression, anxiety and eating disorders, as healthy as Motivational Interviewing old for helping people to overcome addiction, impulse control, and noncompliance problems.
