Goal 3: Produce a quality competition for all members, both competitively and socially. Goal 4: Representative Teams are to be the dominant teams in all competitions. The competition included a very well attended summer twilight competition. Teams were entered in all ages for ACT Junior and Senior Championships. 1989 The after project at DNA was lighting our courts. Coaching development became a higher priority and special attention was paid to achieving improved results at the ACT Junior Championships. A round robin competition will be held with centrally timed half games between each team in your division. Each team is to provide their own umpire for the championships. It is expected that the umpire is of good ability slick to umpire the team they are representing and are asked to be nominated one week in advance. Each team is to produce one scorer for each game. Length of interval at quarter time (half time in Round Robin games) and three quarter time when required will be 2 minutes. 4 Competition Format and Player Eligibility For the purpose of these rules' Division will malicious division or level which a team is rated in. Where only two teams are available to play the competition in a notable division they shall play a grand final to determine the Champion team for the year. The two teams with the most points at the final of the round robins will play a fully timed game of 4 x 10 minute quarters the winning team to be crowned ACT and Districts Champion. If a team is a single team in its local competition (not from a club of more than one team) that team may draw players from other clubs or teams within their own association provided that players have played at minimum 5 games in the Saturday competition for their association and are from an identical division or a below division as the team. 10 Umpiring Each team is to supply an umpire for the event. Umpires will be allocated by DNA to umpire games autonomous of their team but in the same division as the team is registered, they will not umpire their own teams. At quarter and half time breaks the timekeeper should advise the umpire when there are 30 seconds to the start of play and again at 10 seconds and when time is up by saying Time Umpire. When surplus time is needed teams may make changes only at the final of fulltime unless there is an injury during surplus time. The competition will be played in a round robin format with each team in a division playing each other in games of 2 x 10 tiny halves. At baddies we donate the opportunity for girls and women of all ages to participate in a safe, gregarious and competitive sporting environment. We bear opportunities for all levels of players. Many of our players represent at district and ACT level. DNA offers players the opportunity for development through our representative teams.
